Welcome to Palms Elementary

Welcome to Palms Elementary School, “The Home of the Coyotes.” Palms Elementary School values its students and believes in hope for all children. Palms Elementary School is charged to grow scholars and responsible citizens.  The staff is committed to challenging students to always work to their greatest potential. We are dedicated to rigorous instruction and student success.

At Palms, we focus on the development of positive behavior as an important part of student learning. Also, we teach students to set academic goals that will propel them to become lifelong learners. Using a comprehensive approach, we will grow students socially and academically.

Our school is committed to the community and welcomes parents to actively participate in school projects. We want to create a welcoming environment that ensures at Palms Elementary School, everyone learns everyday!

FAMILY READING DAY COMING SOON!

Parents, grandparents, and other family members are invited to the classroom for a family-school reading day. Palms will sponsor a raffle and provide participation certificates for families attending Family Reading Day. Classes with the most family members in attendance win a super surprise!  Come join us from 8-9am on Friday, May 31st.

Medal of Excellence Assembly

 

Students scoring proficient and advance levels on the CST were honored at the Medal of Excellence assembly. Everyone had a fantastic time recognizing the accomplishments of each student. This year, CST testing begins the week of April 29th.

     COYOTES ~ DO YOUR BEST ~ ON THE TEST!

Spring Dance

At the Spring Dance, students wore glow in the dark attire. The music was bumpin’ and the students were jumpin’!   On May 17th, Palms will have the annual Mother and Son dance. At this event, dinner will be served.  Get your tickets.

Palms Collects 1,900+ Canned Goods

Palms Elementary continues to advance its mission to make a positive impact on our community.  In collaboration with the Rotary Club of Perris, we partnered to be a part of the One Million Meals food collection drive.  As a result of your dedication, our Palms Family collected over 1,900 canned goods to support this campaign.  Thank you for your efforts in making this event successful for those in need in our community!  In celebration of our teamwork, students will enjoy a super Water Day Event.

 

La Primaria de Palmas sigue avanzando su misión para hacer un impacto positivo en nuestra comunidad.  En colaboración con el Rotary Club de Perris, nos asociamos para ser parte de la colecta de alimentos de Un Millones de Comidas.  Como resultado de su dedicación, nuestra Familia de Palmas recogió más de 1,900 bienes enlatados para apoyar esta campaña.  ¡Gracias por sus esfuerzos en hacer de este evento exitoso para los necesitados en nuestra comunidad!  En celebración de nuestro trabajo colectivo, los estudiantes disfrutarán de un súper Evento de Día de Agua esta semana.

Saturday Academy

Saturday Academy in Language Arts and Mathematics is an academic program providing both intervention and enrichment instruction. Saturday Academy enrolls over 100 students and offers creative, hands-on lessons.  A special thank you to all the teachers and staff members who are working hard to make this program possible.

Holiday Caroling

Palms Elementary enjoyed its annual Holiday Caroling event. Our families sipped hot chocolate and ate delicious treats while listening to cheerful music performed by the students of Palms. The event was spectacular. Thanks to all!

Students showed off their theatrical talents with three winter performances. Thanks to our director Ms. Hill for organizing an unforgettable show.

UC RIVERSIDE COLLEGE ROAD TRIP

Palms students took a field trip to the University of California Riverside, getting an up-close look at campus life and college academics. While visiting UCR, students attended a college workshop on financial aid and college requirements. Also, students enjoyed a guided tour of the beautiful UCR Botanical Gardens.
